Prior to joining Eastern Benefits Group, Michael served as a Broker Sales Representative for the UNUM Corporation working with insurance brokers in the Boston , North Shore and Merrimack Valley Markets, focusing on voluntary insurance benefits and worksite marketing.

Michael has also held the position of Employee Benefits Director for a large regional insurance firm. There, he was responsible for managing and overseeing the benefits division of the company. Michael's responsibilities included the retention and development of existing clients and also the marketing and development of new business.

Michael's clients enjoy his hands on approach. He inspires client confidence through his knowledge and service commitment. He is accountable for delivering the highest quality employee benefit products in a cost efficient manner to a variety of industries throughout New England .

Michael received his Bachelor of Science degree from Salem State College. He is a member of the North Shore Chamber of Commerce and is active in a number of several other civic organizations. Michael is a commissioner and current chairman of the city of Salem 's Park and Recreation Department.

Michael resides in Salem with his wife and two children.
