Kevin has been involved in the insurance and employee benefits
industry since 1990. Kevin’s primary focus has been in the
administration, funding and underwriting of group benefit plans. Prior
to joining Eastern Benefits Group, Kevin co-founded and was the
President of Hokanson Insurance Agency and its affiliated administration
company, Employee Benefit Administrators (EBA). EBA was recognized by
the Boston Business Journal as one the leading Employee Benefit Firms in
the Boston area for 5 years straight - 2002 through 2007.

During his time at Hokanson Insurance and EBA, Kevin was instrumental in
developing a Managing General Underwriter (MGU) program on behalf of

underwrites employer stop loss insurance through Third Party
Administrators and other brokers across the country.

TPA operation administered employee benefit plans equivalent to about
$50,000,000 in premium.
Kevin has been active with the Society of Professional Benefit
Administrators (SPBA) and the Self Insurance Institute of America (SIIA)
organizations since the early 1990’s.
A graduate of the University of Dayton, Kevin started his career with a
broker at Lloyd’s of London and then the Boston office of Marsh, Inc.,
two of the largest, most respected organizations in the industry. Kevin
resides in Marshfield, Massachusetts with his wife Kim and 4 children.
