Colleen Doherty, SPHR

Colleen Doherty is a seasoned professional with over 20+ years experience in employee benefits and human resources management and administration.

Her experience as the Human Resources Director and benefits administrator for several successful companies allows her to understand our clients' needs from the perspective of the client. In these roles, she managed all aspects of human resources and employee benefits. Her duties included managing the employee benefits renewal process; developing and communicating all company policies; ensuring company compliance; recruiting; training; and performance management.

Prior to serving as a human resources professional, Colleen worked for over nine years for two Boston-based insurance brokerage firms. As a licensed broker, Colleen worked closely with clients to ensure their satisfaction with the products and services that were offered by the firms.

Colleen's experience in employee benefits, insurance brokerage and human resources gives her the knowledge and ability to work successfully with our insurance carriers to ensure the best possible service and product placement for our customers.

Colleen holds an SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) designation from HRCI (Human Resource Certification Institute) which is the credentialing arm of SHRM.  She is an active member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), Northeast Human Resources Association (NEHRA), New England Employee Benefits Council (NEEBC) and Associated Industries of Massachusetts (AIM).
